Incheon International Airport (ICN) is the largest airport in South Korea, and one of the largest and busiest in Asia.
It serves as a hub for international civilian air transportation and cargo traffic in East Asia.
It is located 43 mi (70 km) from Seoul, the capital and largest city of South Korea, and is the main hub for Korean Air, Asiana Airlines and Polar Air Cargo.

The airport is connected to Seoul by an expressway, which is the only road to the airport. An expressway toll is payable from/to both Incheon and Seoul.

Incheon International Airport is currently constructing rails that will intensify regularity and smooth operations under heavy traffic among Transportation and airport patrons.
We are projecting completion of the 1st stage of railroads that will connect Incheon International Airport with Gimpo Airport, a 41km distance, approximately April of 2007 and the 2nd stage by 2009 that will connect Gimpo Airport with Seoul Station.
We also project 45 minutes of travel time from central Seoul to the airport at speeds approximately 150km/hr on the surface level and 120km/hr underground, a total of 61.5km with 1 cart headquarters and 10 stations in between.

Patrons that wish to use vessel transportation from Incheon to Incheon International Airport may utilize the Wolmi Island ↔ Yeongjong Island water ways.
Operation hours are daily 06:00~21:30, transporting intervals are approximately 15~20 minutes. 1,500won per Person.
Short term parking are exclusive for cars on the 1st and 3rd floor and it is connected to the passenger terminal above and under ground.

Divided into car, bus, taxi and employee parking lots and buses run between the parking lot and arrival level (1st floor) every five minutes.

About Illegal Parking Venders
There are many issues and discrepancies about illegal parking vendors on the 3rd floor in the Incheon Airport premise.
To prevent such discrepancies customers that plan to utilize airport parking vendors, please make sure you utilize our official vendors who are located at gates 1 through 7 on the 3rd floor.

- Disabled automobiles using the manned toll booth at the parking lot entrance can show their disability certificate and receive a 50% discount in their parking rate.
- Handicapped parking are near the short-term parking (1st and B1 floors) elevators and the shuttle bus stop at the long-term parking lot.
- All shuttle buses between passenger terminal-long term parking, passenger terminal-cargo terminal are equipped with wheelchair lifts in order to take care of you comfortably and safely.

- Help Phones are located at the passenger terminal (3rd floor no. 3, 7, 8, 12), two places in the traffic center parking lot (A4, B3 areas) and four places on the 1st floor (A5-4, A8-7, B7-7, B10-4). Using the Help Phone will connect you directly with the information counter and you will be able to receive help from service agents.

- Handicapped-only parking lots are available on the passenger terminal (in front of exits 3 and 12), and you may use the Help Phone located at the departure level parking lot to contact the Incheon Internati onal Airport information counter, who will kindly and safely take you to the check-in counter of your reserved airline carrier.

- There is a minimum of at least one toilet for the disabled in each restroom of the passenger terminal.
- Wide entrances, automatic button doors, emergency bells, and sensor operated door closing devices have been installed for ease of use for the disabled, and we are maintaining cle anliness in order to keep it a comfortable place.

- Information desks for the disabled are operated on the departure floor (entrances 3 and 12) and arrival floor (entrances 5 and 10) of the passenger terminal, and we are renting out wheelchairs and baby carriages for free.
- There are assistants at the information desk as well as a Braille brochure containing information of the airport for the blind.
Airline Carrier services for the disabled
Each airline operating out of Incheon International Airport provide various and unique services for the comfortable trip of the disabled, elderly, children, and passengers traveling with babies from their departure, transit all the way to their arrival, so please request for help needed when reserving tickets.
The following services are normally provided for, however there may be some differences depending on the airline or flight route, so please check with the airline's services for the disabled.
- On Departure: Check-in assistance, Departure document preparation, assistance boarding the plane
- In cabin: Assistance preparing arrival documents and Special Care Service
- On Arrival: Assistance with arrival and cargo inspection, assistance to next transportation method when possible
