The passenger terminal can be reached by leaving the motorway A7 (Hamburg/Kassel) or the motorway A2 (Berlin/Dortmund) at the exit for Langenhagen or for the A352.
Bus 470 leaves for the airport from the station Langenhagen-Zentrum 2-3 times per hour and makes various stops in Langenhagen. A normal public transport ticket is needed. You can reach the Langenhagen-Zentrum station with the tram line number 1 leaving from the central railway station.
The Deutsche Bahn AG started a direct train connection between the hannover airport and the hannover central station on May 28th 2000. The line S5 operates every 30 minutes from 5.00 to 24.00 h. Travel time 15 to 20 minutes to hannover central station. The price of a single ticket is € 2,40.
The Flughafen Transfer Hannover GmbH picks you up at your home and brings you punctually to the airport. Upon your return, it brings you back home. This service is available 365 days in the year, 24 hours per day.
At Parkhaus 1, located near the terminals, there are 50 "Exclusive Parking" spaces available. The parking spaces are located in a closed off area, are monitored by video and are further protected by motion detectors. Cars parked in these spaces are insured by us.
Special services are offered to "exclusive parking" customers and one service offered is car care according to your wishes while you are away. Mercedes-Benz, Audi and VW have theire own garage at the airport and offers repair services for your car.

There are signs which lead you to the parking areas with "exclusive parking". An airport employee will help you with getting in and out of the parking space.
The exclusive parking service costs an additional 6 EURO per day (1-5 days) and 6 EURO per day from the 6th day on. This is in addition to the normal parking rates. Special services such as inspections and car washing are directly added to your bill. Upon your return, you can pay your bill at the parking garage cashier, where you will receive your exit ticket.

You can drive to your departure terminal directly and once there, give your car key to an Airport-Service member at check-in and he will park your car for you.
The Airport Service Center offers an Information-counter as well as Lost and Found, Tax Refund and Ticket advance sale. You will find it in the Arrival-level of Terminal B.
Money: The airport has banks; bureaux de change; and ATMs located throughout the terminal buildings.
More Services: The airport has a post office, and a children's play area located on the Departures level C.
Eating & Drinking: The airport has a number of shops, including duty-free shops; a tobacconist; a supermarket; a clothing accessories shop; and a perfumery.
Shopping: There are a number of restaurants; cafes; and bars found in the terminals buildings at the airport.
Business Facilities: The Movenpick Conference Center, located between Terminal A and Terminal B, has conference rooms for 5 to 350 people. Conference and business facilities are also available at the Maritim Airport Hotel Hannover and the Holiday Inn Hannover Airport. There is a VIP Service available at the airport.
Our hotel lies in the direct vicinity of the airport (200m) and has optimal access to the autobahn network. With the city railway (S-Bahn) it takes 16 minutes to reach the city centre and around 25 minutes to travel to the Hannover Exhibition grounds.
