Prearranged Services
The Greater Toronto Airports Authority offers a pre-arranged system which provides airport patrons with the option of arranging their own preferred taxi or limousine service from Toronto Pearson International Airport.
Pre-arranged Dispatch Office
The pre-arranged dispatch office is located 6288 Silverdart Drive. see map
How it works
Commercial Vehicle operations have designated the Terminal 3 Commercial Vehicle Holding Area as a staging facility for all pre-arranged service vehicles.
All drivers of these vehicles are required to complete pre-arranged information forms, supplying the following items:
Customer name Company name President’s name Company contact Mailing address Telephone number Vehicle make, model and year Provincial licence plate number Municipal licence plate number and municipality Drivers’s Name and signature
Terminal 3 dispatch office staff issue single, per-trip permits registered in the company’s and customer’s names. Once drivers have paid for their permit, they are to remain in the pre-arranged dispatch lot until instructed to proceed to the terminal curb to meet their customers.
Arriving passengers using this service are to proceed to the pre-arrange posts on the Arrival Level of the terminal building in which they are arriving. The pre-arranged dispatchers contact the dispatch office and request the pre-arranged vehicle to attend the terminal curbs.
The dispatch office staff will authorize the drivers to the terminal curbs. Drivers then proceed to the pre-arranged curb allocations and display the single per-trip permits to the pre-arranged dispatchers. These dispatchers retain a portion of each permit and identify the passenger to the drivers.
Irregular Operators
In the event that drivers are delayed or not processed, passengers will be instructed to contact their service providers. When the driver does arrive, the pre-arranged curbside dispatcher will be notified and the driver will be instructed to proceed to the terminal.
Refunds
Drivers will receive a complete refund for their per-trip permits should their passenger fail to arrive at the terminal curb. However, drivers who exit the pre-arranged dispatch lot without authorization shall be denied a refund if passengers fail to arrive or cancel their trip.

On the front-line of customer service, Passenger Information Representatives (PIR) are the most prominent and recognizable part of the GTAA’s extensive customer service initiative. PIRs are responsible for ensuring that every passenger and visitor to Toronto Pearson International Airport has an enjoyable and memorable experience.
Considered a "one-stop shop" for airport information, the fully mobile PIRs are responsible for providing passengers and visitors information on airport facilities and concessions, airline operations, ground transportation, tourism, interpretation of the Flight Information screens, government agencies and police forces available at the airport. They are also responsible for crowd control, terminal service monitoring and terminal staff assistance. As the first-response to terminal issues, PIRs provide emergency management and monitor the terminal for anything that could be hazardous or an inconvenience for users of the airport.
As highly-trained customer service personnel, each PIR is fluent in a least three languages including French and English and can assist with many translation needs. They are knowledgeable and experienced in airport operations, terminal layouts, airlines, airport tenants and agencies, government agencies and airport terminal operations. They also have extensive experience and knowledge of the GTA to provide travel, transit and tourism information.
photo of ACAP representative Wearing bright blue uniforms and stationed in passenger traffic zones, passengers will be able to find a PIR at Toronto Pearson International Airport (on foot or at an Information Centre) 24 hours a day, seven days a week in the new Terminal 1, Terminal 2, Terminal 3 and the Infield Terminal (IFT).
If a passenger requires assistance and is unable to locate a PIR, courtesy phones situated throughout the terminals connect the passenger to the central PIR call centre. A PIR will either be able to answer the question on the telephone or be on their way to meet the passenger immediately.
Currently, the GTAA employs over 80 PIRs, a number expected to increase as the second phase of the Airport Development Program nears completion
Currently, PIRs can be found in:
Terminal 1: through-out terminal
Terminal 2: Departures level, Arrivals level, Baggage halls, Primary inspection line PIL, Gate area (secure area)
In Terminal 1 they can also be reached by accessing any Information Phones either associated with the Information Centres located on both the arrivals and departures level, or the Information Phones located throughout the Terminals.
Lost & Found
The GTAA provides a comprehensive and professional lost and found service to the traveling public and employees of the airport community. The service provides a means by which individuals can report lost property, and a procedure to record and store found property until it can be returned to its rightful owner.
This service extends to items lost or found at all GTAA Terminal Buildings, all GTAA contracted Buses, and the Airport LINK Train System.
Items left aboard an aircraft are the responsibility of that Air Carrier. If you have lost an item aboard an aircraft, you must contact the Air Carrier directly.
In each terminal at Toronto Pearson, there are a number of restaurants, retail shops and services to provide travelers with an enjoyable and comfortable airport experience. From small sandwich carts to sit down cafés, and newsstands to duty free stores, visitors are sure to find whatever they are looking for.
