Nothing says Vegas better than Caesars Palace. The Romans would be proud of the beautiful rooms, heavenly pools, breathtaking shops, gourmet restaurants, world-class entertainment and one of the hippest nightclubs in town. Also, the Colosseum looks better than it has in centuries.
The Palace opened its doors in August 1966, and although much has changed since then, the essentials remain the same: unsurpassed service, royal surroundings and entertainment maximus.
Even Caesar would be overwhelmed by the long list of incredible dining options featuring world-renowned chefs. Bradley Ogden's eponymous eclectic restaurant is a James Beard Award winner and the laid-back Bobby Flay cooks up modern Southwest flare in his gorgeous Mesa Grill. That doesn't even include the dining options in the world-famous Forum Shops. Your inner Cleopatra can shop for couture clothing, jewels, beauty products and nearly everything else under the sun before enjoying a sumptuous dinner at fabulous restaurants including Joe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone Crab, Sushi Roku and The Palm.
Caesars Palace's legendary casino always has been the place to be for high rollers, celebrities and everyone with some cash to spare. The nicely appointed rooms have both the classic beauty of past times and the modern technology of today. If you want to be treated like royalty, follow Caesar and Cleopatra to the Roman-style pools and get spoiled by the grape goddesses who hand out frozen grapes in the summer.
Caesars has hosted some of the world's greatest artists throughout the years, and this decade is no different. Celine Dion enchants audiences with her extraordinary theatrical production in the Colosseum, and musicians such as Elton John have delivered nights of nonstop entertainment. Pure is arguably one of the hottest clubs in town, and the million-dollar view from its outside center-Strip patio is undeniably regal.
Just as the ancient palace for which it was named, Caesars surpasses every expectation. Vide et credere (see and believe)!

Excavation work on the north side of Russell Road will result in lane restrictions affecting traffic in both directions beneath the Paradise Road overpass near McCarran International Airport.
Eastbound and westbound traffic on Russell will be limited to one lane in each direction between the hours of 9 p.m. and 5 a.m. effective Friday, Nov. 3. Steel plates will cover the trenches from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. to allow daytime and rush hour traffic to operate normally.
The Russell Road lane restrictions are expected to conclude before Nov. 15, more than one full week before Thanksgiving. If the project is unexpectedly delayed, roadwork would cease from Nov. 15 through Nov. 30 to lessen the disruption to traffic during the busy holiday travel season.
The lane closures are required to install underground electrical utilities.
Drivers who are not headed to McCarran are encouraged to seek alternate routes to avoid construction in the area, which also includes 24-hour lane restrictions on northbound Paradise that will affect drivers who exit the Interstate 215 connector tunnel through early January 2007.
In addition, the northbound on-ramp from Russell to Paradise is closed to traffic through Nov. 15.
The Clark County Department of Aviation is spending approximately $55 million to realign Russell between Paradise and Eastern Avenue. Roadway changes are necessary to make way for Terminal 3, a $1.5 billion addition that will greatly expand McCarran International Airport’s ability to move travelers to and from Southern Nevada.
