A bus service connects the airport to the railway station, and another runs from the airport to the city centre and suburbs, aproximately every 15 minutes. A minibus service is also available from the bus stop outside the Arrivals terminal covering various routes through the city and outskirts.There are many taxis outside arrivals, and are relatively cheap.
If you lose or leave anything of your belongings in the passenger terminal, please contact the luggage storage located next to the main arrivals area (Sector A).
The VIP Room is a waiting room, with nice interior, in the airport passenger terminal where you will not need to take care of flight-related formalities.
The staff of the VIP Room will take care of checking in your tickets and luggage, security check, customs procedures and border control. Next to the VIP Room there is an area for parking cars, for meeting very important persons and delegations as well as for seeing them off and for organising other ceremonies.
For the convenience of guests there are not only rest areas but also a working room where you can use telephone, the Internet, copy and fax machines. The main room is equipped with satellite TV, CD/DVD player and the latest Lithuanian dailies are available especially for you. In the cosy bar you can enjoy drinks, have some coffee, sweets and alcoholic beverages.
The VIP Room is not only for State use. This Room may also be rented to persons without the VIP status. Having paid an hourly rent a guest will be recieved and served in accordance with all the VIP Room requirements.

Business class passengers, Priority Class Club members and passengers having certain cards of frequent flyers are kindly invited to await their flights in the Business Club located in the departures area.
Passengers having no airline invitation to the Business Club can use the Business Club services upon payment of the following fixed fees:
LTL 50 for an adult; LTL 10 for a child under 12; LTL 40 per person in a group of more than 5 persons.

All passengers at VIAP, before checking in for the flight, can observe through the glass wall of the departure area the construction of the new passenger terminal, on-going since the end of May. In the first half of September the most important work here was the concreting of the first floor. The concrete flooring of about 7 thousand square meters will be done in several stages. By the New Year the builders of YIT Kausta AB plan to top off the entire three-storey structure. And all the construction works are to be completed in the autumn of 2007.
